    Use this discussion to exchange tips on racial profiling and predatory lending.

    I notice on the <a href="http://predatorylendingassociation.com/racial-profiling.shtml">racial profiling tools</a> page that your data shows a profit per year of $1125 for a black person but only $900 per year for a Hispanic person. I've been able to increase my Hispanic profitability by offering wire transfer services to Latin America. Do these profit per year statistics include other servies like wire transfers or are they just for payday loans?

    Excellent question, Dave. The data on our racial profiling tools page is for payday loans only.

    I couldn't help but notice when using the locator maps that the PLA recommends placing a Payday Loan Center very close to my home. What are the laws in terms of operating such a business out of your home?

    I notice that you´ve forgotten to include American Indians in your racial profiling tips. Many reservation communities are extremely vulnerable to predatory lending tactics.

    "Vulnerable"? I think you mean to say that the rich culture of the American Indian can only benefit from the OPPORTUNITIES provided by payday loans. They represent a small, but valuable niche market. Further, because some of these tribes still operate on the barter system, working with a payday loan center is a chance to be educated about the free market.

    I would like to know the laws in terms of going MOBILE. Having a business built into a van or Escalade, bringing the free market services to the "hood", for example.

    I would like to start a Payday Loan Center inside my Pawn Shop. Sort of like a Poverty Mall. Do you think this is a good business plan?

    So racial profiling really does exist? No wonder I am having problem getting a loan. Man that sucks :(
